目前,國(guó)內(nèi)用于玉米粉碎的主要機(jī)型是臥式錘片粉碎機(jī)。該機(jī)型盡管優(yōu)點(diǎn)較多,但其缺點(diǎn)也比較突出,這就是能量消耗大、生產(chǎn)率不高的問(wèn)題。為解決這些問(wèn)題,多年來(lái),在設(shè)計(jì)上也采取了不少改進(jìn)措施,如加大篩板包角、設(shè)計(jì)水滴形粉碎室、設(shè)計(jì)偏心粉碎室、加強(qiáng)輔助吸風(fēng)等,這些措施雖也有一定效果,但受臥式錘片粉碎機(jī)整體結(jié)構(gòu)的限制,難以有明顯的成效。另外，還有齒爪式粉碎機(jī)、立式粉碎機(jī)、水滴型粉碎機(jī)，齒爪式粉碎機(jī)其結(jié)構(gòu)緊湊，體積小，可靠性高，但能耗大，對(duì)粉碎多種物料的適應(yīng)性差；立式粉碎機(jī)生產(chǎn)率高，能耗低，無(wú)需吸風(fēng)，換篩方便，有效地干擾或破壞了粉碎室內(nèi)的氣物環(huán)流層，避免了重復(fù)無(wú)效的過(guò)度粉碎，但結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜，價(jià)格昂貴，顆粒大小的分級(jí)困難，不適合于普通的場(chǎng)合；水滴型粉碎機(jī)粉碎室呈水滴型，粉碎效率高，能耗小，但結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜，體積大，制造加工難，工藝復(fù)雜；揉搓式粉碎機(jī)采用動(dòng)定齒盤(pán)，依靠動(dòng)定齒盤(pán)之間的相對(duì)的高速運(yùn)動(dòng)，使被粉碎物受齒盤(pán)揉搓、沖擊，剪切，摩擦及物料彼此間沖擊等綜合作用，來(lái)粉碎物料。
